Business has been good at Tribute this year, unfortunately life has not been the same. Many customers who have had projects completed and some who are still awaiting completion will known some of the issues that I have had this year that have impacted on production. Some of these issues have been overcome, some are ongoing. Currently my number one focus that has been, and will continue to be, a reason to take time away from the Tribute workshop is my Mum. After seven weeks in hospital with various problems, she has undergone a massive 9 hour operation to remove a failed kidney and cancer affecting several other organs. At the age of 84 we were given only a 7% chance for her survival. On Thursday we had been prepared by Doctors to turn off her life support. But she is a fighter, and against the odds she is currently pulling through, but has a very large mountain to climb and I need to be there to help her do that.........
So I offer my apologies to anyone who has waited, or is awaiting, for their project to be completed. Dan is doing a great job of covering my many and sometimes unexpected absences, for which I truly thank him, but there are only so many hours in a day. Lead times on Kit production hasn't been affected, but builds and development have been. There are some changes and restructuring in hand that will improve things shortly, but more news of that another day.
I hope all goes well, I know this isn't the only challenge you have faced recently.
I have always tried to be flexible when dealing with you and my unreasonable requests and I am sure others will be. We are only playing with toys, they really don't matter that much.
I have had the occasional brush with the medical profession and know they are obliged to warn you of the worse scenario, mention the average and ignore your personal most likely outcome. Statistically I would have had three right feet removed, died twice from organ failure, once from being impaled and been shot by four jealous lovers.
I still have two feet and only one bullet scar.
What ever happens with your mother, wife, self please know you have my best thoughts with you. If there is anything I can do, even just a chat, please let me know.
