Charcoal Pot

29 Mar 2006, 6:48pm
Hi...

Finally got the carpet trimming done and chassis dropped onto wheels.

Feels a fantastic achievement!! and the neighbours think so too!!

...so now onto the engine fitting.

Q. Do you fit the charcoal fuel pot or not?...don't know what the advantage of it is?

Any help please

charcoal canister

Just ditch it mate, unneccessary complication. It is used to store tank vent fumes which are then released to inlet manifold. It is to prevent hydrocarbons entering atmosphere. It is not an SVA requirement on a kit car.
