Wooden body for Husky Kit Car

Dear all,

my students are working together with students from India on a "IndiCar" for the rural areas.
The drivetrain is based on the Maruti (Suzuki) 800.
I have seen the Husky had used MDF panels for the body.
Do somebody have experience with the painting and connecting of MDF in a car?

Paul,

thank you for the information.
I will contact the seller. Seems he use plywood with metal cover.
We will try MDF Medex like in the Husky. But I want to avoid
to much work to filler the body.
Maybe a car wrap foil will work.

This may be a stupid statement for which I apologise in advance.

Does MDF NOT like moisture and water ? So using it on a car may be incorrect. I thought marine grade ply was best.?
