Porsche 550 rebody idea

Hello forum

Sorry to make this my first post. I've wanted a Porsche 550 replica for a while but am intimidated by the IVA and fact I'd have to design or pay obscene amounts for someone else to design a bespoke chassis to suit it. I found an old Banham fibreglass body and was looking at the neighbour's mk3 Toyota MR2 and thinking wow, I bet I could fit the fibreglass body to that monocoque and dodge the IVA all together.

Anybody have any ideas about this, suggestions, recommendations, cautions etc. Would this be a good idea? Anybody else think this would be a cool car to have?

Sounds like a good plan to me...have you measured wheelbase and deck to see if its a viable project?
