Noticed the bottom of the front end isn't level from one side to the other has anybody else had this issue and what did you do to resolve ? Thanks (see pic)

Hi Mark, Mine was the same. I tried to straighten it with 3 bracing brackets ; centre and one each side. it helped a little but the good news is it doesn't show unless you are down on knees. Plus not so obvious when painted unless car up on ramp . See my pic.

was thinking bracing brackets and I think with the reg plate where it is will also help. I will try a brace at one end to try push down a little and see how it goes. Thanks again

Difficult to see properly , but a shorter brace on drivers side pulling it up a bit and a longer brace pass side pushing it downmay address some of the sloping .....it needs bracing anyway ..so relatively easy fix hopefully ...

I have 2 braces ready to fit which I was going to put at the ends of the front might have to change these to the front like you say to try and level out as much as possible.

Mark – I’d certainly follow the advice of 2manytoys above.

I spent a lot of time looking at the parts of my car that were not perfect.

But the ‘on the road’ reality is different and very few people (if any) will see beyond the great first impression.

However, if you really want to tackle it, just remember it is only fibreglass which can be cut and joined.

Hi. Just a quick question on your front grill, did you make it yourself and what chrome did you use for the outer frame of the grill ?

Hi Mark. I ordered a sheet of black coated alloy mesh , cut it so it fitted inside the aperture. Bought a roll of plastic chrome edging, warmed it up over night in house (central heating on). pushed it over black grill mesh all round.
made sure grill still fitted inside snugly , the aperture .
Screwed in place with 4 black flanged self tappers.

Looks really good. Is it this stuff for the trim ?

Thats the type of chrome edging Mark. Certainly no wider than 0.7 cm.
Or it wont go round corners so well without kinking (after warming). I placed the join at the bottom (not so easily seen).
