Seat size

Hi guys first post for me ,
I’ve owned a locust and a narrow body Westfield,think of getting another kitcar.
Problem is er indoors has got a bit wider in the seat department anybody advise me on which car is likely to have the widest seats ?

Have you thought about one of the Z3 based re body kits. Some owners have removed the Z3 seats ( which are good to start with ) and fitted comfy Rover arm chair style seats instead. You also have the benefit of a proper heater, air con , electric roof, optional hard top etc etc. Quick build in most cases and sensible money to complete.

Reminded me of an encounter many years ago........ A fellow kit car builder said he ws looking to get some seats 12 inches wide - I said "that's not a seat, it's a saddle :icon_lol:"

Rover 75 Seats - Rimmer Bros

For anyone considering Rover 75 seats, the latest Mega Clearance catalogue from Rimmer Bros has Rover 75 leather replacement seat cover kits at £150 for the sandstone and £90 for the black leather kits. These are for a pair of front seats.

Other generic parts in the catalogue are very competitively priced with towing electrics kits (wiring, relay, socket) for £12, seat belt assemblies £3.60 to £6 and electric radiator fans from £18.

Some of their specific parts are going for peanuts- complete instrument clusters for Rover 25, 400, MG ZS for £12, individual instruments including rev counter and speedos for £6, Rover 800 front door for £12, Montego clutch kit £12, electric door mirrors from £6 and it goes on...
