I read on the Daily Mail website today that car dealers can resume trading as long as social distancing can be maintained.

I hope this will soon apply to private sales, social distancing could be applied in a private sale too.

You should not be fined by the Police if you are out to buy a new car.

Lucky – It will be interesting to see what happens to new car prices when the showrooms do open.

As I need to replace our family estate car with a ULEZ compliant one at some point.

I plan to buy mine second hand, so hope that prices are forced downwards in order to clear stock and improve cash flow.

Unless you were in a real rush, I’d keep your kit car a bit longer to see what the ‘new normal’ looks like.
