door skin window gap question

what are people using to give a good finish on the door where it meets the window edge. its proper wonky on mine so I need some sort of a trim to tidy it up a we bit.

On my Z75 I used a piece of 16mm half round section aluminium strip. I curved it slightly to follow the window shape and notched out around the quarter window upright. The trim was bonded in place with PU adhesive after paint.

I used the same 16mm profile to make the windscreen trim all the way round. Looks good and easy to work with.

I buy a lot of parts from Stafford Vehicle Components as they are just around the corner from me, very handy ! They do mail order too.

You need to look under the "vintage" section of the website

They have several sizes and a selection of profiles to choose from. I used 16mm half round aluminium section.
