What happened David Jones 288 GTO replica kit?

As far as I can see, Dave Jones only made one 288 GTO kit for a MR2 (the demonstrator). Since the initial publicity back in 2018-ish: nothing.

Did he fall foul of the Ferrari legal department?

He made 3 kits as far as I know - two of them are now owned by friends of mine - Michael and Daniel who I see fairly regularly in the summer months - one lives near south Birmingham and one near Burton on trent. not sure what happened to the 3rd one though

I think Michael was considering selling his ( for the right price obviously) but not sure what he'd want for it
