Has anyone else seen the pricing of the new Dutton? I was expecting to see something budget like 4k, but it's over 12k! Has Mr Dutton broken away from his former sales methods?
I don't know what a ground up, budget build is these days but to me that isn't the budget for a Dutton ! His website isn't giving much away either, not even prototype photo's or renditions apart from crude looking chassis tub, is that it ?
The difference in price probably reflects a difference in quality. What was acceptable in the '70s would be laughed at now. Who goes rooting in the scrapyard now? Everything has moved on. Quality and price!
