800 Miles Later - Forum Archive

I've now covered just over 800 miles in my exi.

Summary Highlights:-

1) 2 out of 3 other drivers and pedestrians point or look...
2) Can't fill up without someone asking what is it, where do you get one from...
3) It goes like stink (the 1.6 is giving a 0-60 of around 5-6 secs.)
4) Handling is great
5) The sound is great (esp in tunnels!!)
6) Smiles per mile best ever rating!

...all in all the car is great...a couple of squeaks from the front suspension to sort out but otherwise very rewarding.

I've posted a picture 'on location' in the gallery just to show that an exi can cut it.

Looks like your starting to have some fun now, at the moment I can only look on green with envy, but next year hopefully will be having the same experiences.

Are you taking the car to Kit Car live at Brands 14th October?

I've had an invite from Marlin to do Kitcar Live at Brands......but unfortunately I have other commitments that weekend that I can't move.

If the situation changes, I'll be there...but seriously doubt it.

Oh well theres always next year and all the shows. By then we maybe able to head to head on the track. Well, at least have a little fun.
