Does anyone know if the BMW M50 2.5l engine mates to the e30 Gertrag gearbox and if the engine mounts are the same?
Anything else to consider?

He he plenty of BMW options out there. I did ask Marlin what engine gearbox combination they had engine mounts etc for but I got the email equivalent of blank look when I mentioned M and S numbers.
I've got a 2.2 M54 in my daily driver such a smooth and refined engine. Lots of issue with that generation like fly by wire.
