Great car, saw at Stoneleigh, and praised you at the time.

Just been pricing an MX5, and stumbled on insurance

My kit car provider, MR Bloor, won't touch it; any ideas why?

I could only think it was due to being an after market mod, not a kit

Try Adrian Flux £196 fully comp limited to 5000 miles per year on clasic policy.

Interior

Just wondering if you were triming the interior too or if you leave it totally stock :icon_question:

Hi Martini

In the red Tribute demo car we haven't done any trimming or modification to the interior other than changing to more period bucket seats. Our 2013 demo MX250 will be full retrimmed and have a new dashboard etc. Have a look at Seanick's Build Tread as he has already done some trimming work.

The sketch reminds me of a certain scandinavian pop video that I am obviously too young to remember (I wish!).

Aha!

That dates you, even I remember them

I have a Devin SS body sitting in the shop. As well as a Kellison J5 coupe. The Devin, is soooo pretty. The Kellison is very menacing looking. Love the 50's.

Dont tell Chris at Tribute....turn your back for a moment and he will take a mould from it!

jmc14 3rd February 2013 17:54

I am in New York, USA.

I think that if I were closer to Chris that we could have some fun.

seanick 3rd February 2013 17:57

could you you just take a quick slash of yours and send it over to to me!

Hello Chris, Here is a picture of my Kellison. This is at ride height. The gentleman that I purchased it from enlarged the wheel wells as he was going to go with giant 20 inch wheels in the back, 18 inch in the front. The hood was also cut so that a supercharger would be sticking through it. I will be building it old school I think. So, i will be reducing the wheel well size.

Having fun, John
