all that f#^>ing about and I have now got to take the body back off! it's like you have to do every job twice ?????? talk about one step forwards two steps back, and just to top that off the nights are drawing in. it dosen,t get any easier should have stuck to stamp collecting.

Well if it makes you feel any better, I am now facing the 3rd winter of my build. :icon_sad:

By the looks of it, you have already made a lot of good progress. :cool:

I really like the industrial look of your boot door set up.

I know I am really looking forward to the day when my bodyshell goes on for the last time. :pray:

body aligned....ish

modified frame behind dash to be able to fit gauges more centrally in dash. also extended top of front bulkhead, only bulkhead behind dash to fill in next to support scuttle top. decided to try and line up body ready to bond to frame. quite a tasking job. body in alsorts of shapes. best fit I could achieve was to try and get the best fit of the wheels into the arches, and fastened body to frame temporarily with tek screws and brackets sikaflex end on to body.dosen,t look to bad,I am not that confident of chopping and changing the fibre glass body, and although there are descrepencies to how the body lining up on either side, the old adage of you don't see both sides at the same time comes into play here. next step bonding body to frame.Attachment 1605
