Rear dino screen
Hi
right the next subject is the rear screen. I know the real dino's had a rear screen made from lexan (trade/brand name but in reality another name for perspex). Superformance have recently added these to there e-catalog but at £400 +packing and shipping +vat, quite an investment!! I'm quite a hands on guy and will make the required templates and jigs to form the screen. What I need is info on heating and shaping the perspex. Or if there is anyone already out there suppling them. ian |

Hi me again:blah:
I'll have to check the IVA manual again.Hopefully the rear screen doesn't require the dreaded E-mak too.Forgot this on the first post. ian |
rear screen
hi
it seems that the rear screen will also need e-marks:icon_cry: so the next question is who supplies perspex or plastic glazing with an e-mark. It seems the power that be dont want home builders to buld anything. or they are in cahoots with just about everyone to keep pricing us out of our garages.:nono: ian |
Hi Ian
Cheer up! I spoke to a guy called Stuart @ Airdale and he informed me thaat plastics4performance supply plastic glazing with the e mark. :-) |
thanks again!!

Rear Dino Screen
My rear window is 'perspex' (or similar) but I had it made from the original 206GT's rear window which was glass. (I loaned the glass item to a plastics company who duplicated it in plastic)...
