Rear suspension top mountingpart

Hello there,

I really hope we can help each other on this forum; I'm also building a Marlin Sportster, but mine is Ford based. I use a lot from the scorpio cosworth 1991 model, especially THE ENGINE itself !

My question to you, the BMW based ones:
The rearsuspension should be a sierra or scorpio damper for me, but I was lucky to get an air-compressor assisted set from a BMW.

Now my problem is that I don't know how the top-part looks like. I have a part that on the left and right needs a bolt through it, and front and backside (compared to driving direction) have a hole to put a bolt through for the topeye of the damper.

The BMW damper has a thread itself, instead of an eye like the Ford-one. Does anyone of you have a picture of the BMW part?
Please email it to me, or discribe how it looks like. Otherwise I must improvise myself.

PJC

Here's the ones from mine if you still need pictures :) :

Top mount - bolt in the middle holds the damper into the top mounts and the two little ones next to it hold the top mount in. I used a mole wrench to hold the damper still so I could undo the bolt holding it.

Old top mount next to the new one. The part is actually from an E46 convertable (as recommended by some one on E30zone.co.uk :)
