I don't go on this forum for a couple of weeks and look what happens!! :fear:

Actually the above does have a certain strange appeal.....

Sorry meant Chapron.

There was a kit available in the 80's made of GRP, one came up on eBay a while ago but I seem to remember it having an asking price of around £40k

212 Vignale Spyder Export looks very slick and should be possible on an MX5, Z3 or maybe even an old Triumph chassis...

Like the clean lines of the dash. Also the sunk in tailights flush with the bodywork

http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/images/large/1013-13.jpgI like the coupe more personally

Miserable git told me to f*ck off

A common problem it would seem:

Probably used the engine out a Rover!

Mister Towed 16th November 2014 08:59

Holy head gasket Batman!

Scottie22 16th November 2014 13:52

Hey Towed! That could've been you if you'd stayed with the ally rad!!

That is about the prettiest Ferrari I have ever seen. Would need a centre-stiffened tonneau for this country though. What are the chances?

zagmad 17th November 2014 13:36

Any thoughts on the Maserati a6g in black. I was thinking as a combo mix of two cars which would i have and its come to this- front end would be Ferrari 250 GTE with lights in the grill. Back end would be a Maserati a6g with the curvy rear raised wings. Id post some pics but my mobie wont let me

y cymro 17th November 2014 19:19

Hey Zag
I'll need those pictures to know what you mean :-)

I'm very interested in the 250 swb but having just bought a Z3 and found my wife really likes it, I'd love to see a Kobra/ 250 mix.

Rear Kobra body kit with the 250 rear/roof blended in but keeping the Z3 windows and doors.

Front Kobra kit with the 250 face/grille/light set up.

Mixing the 250 style with muscle type arches would give the opportunity for old or modern style build.

I don't need a 'replica' of anything, I like 'in the style of' cars so this would be a more simple and practical solution, keeping the electric windows and central locking for easier year round use.

Just my opinion, but I have the base car so I'd buy one straight away.

Bob.

Hi Bob

We would be happy to combine the 250SWB and kobra kits together for you, we will have room in the workshop by next September. If you would like a quote please give me a call on 07901 544241.

That's the idea but keeping the Z3 side window line so they work as original, and doing away with the front spoiler for a more 250, less Kobra appearance.

Brilliant work though, I can't do photoshop and although I have loads of ideas it gets difficult to visualise them.

Thanks, Bob.
