1936 Marlene Roadster
 

My husband bought this kit several years ago and has now decided he's never going to build it.

The Kit is for a 1936 Mercedes Marlene Roadster by Classic Roadsters. I believe we still have all the parts, paperwork, the build book and the electrical schematics. We also still have the frame, engine and transmission that were purchased separately for the car. I’m afraid not much work was ever done on it. Does anyone know if there is a market for these Kits?

I would have thought any reasonable quality kit would have a market, especially what sounds like such an interesting car.

A few photographs of some of the main bits would help to assess and advise.

For a serious constructor intent on creating a road going car, it would almost certainly need to pass an IVA test before it could be registered. If this kit is very old it might be difficult to pass that test because some of the requirements of the test are fundamental to the design of the kit, modern kits are built to comply with the IVA test.

I just did a quick search and it appears to be an American kit.

Can you tell me a little more info condition of body?

I have interest in a winter project, and do have some parts for this car.

Would love to know more as to - are most of the kit car parts crated, and where you are (general area) so as to find out shipping costs.
