A arm bushings
Does anybody know what bushings were being used by Classic Replicas. I have a later style chassis resembling the Dino chassis. My arms are made from round tube stock and are not Dino copies.. I remember being told they were from an MG, but I don't know what model it was. I want to go with a urethane bushing because the rubber seems a bit soft and I detect more fore/aft movement in the wheel than I think is reasonable . / Jon

Hi Jon
The only information I have is from an article in Complete Kit car March 2008 about the Classic replicas Dino 246 GT. Front suspension :- Fabricated double wishbones (A arms), coil over dampers, MGF stub axles. Rear suspension:- Fabricated top wishbones, lower tie bars, coil over dampers, MGF hub carriers. Sorry I have no information on which bushings are used. Neil |
bushes
Hi
The earlier cr dino used deons wishbones and these continued onto the later chassis until there were updated to look more like the original dino ones. They were supplied by deon but came from a local company (local to deon/ jhclassic's) near to ilminster. I think it was called imperial automotive or engineering or something. Best bet would be to measure the length, diameters both outside and inside and make a drawing. Or if you have one send the complete bush to polybush who will make some up to match. ian |

Hi
Bushes originally supplied to deon by Anti Vibrations Methods Co td. The phone number I have is 01985219032. I don't know if they are still trading but worth a try. They were approx £7 each (jan 2000 ) ian |
