Another one!

No bids and only up for 5k! seems to have had quite a bit of work done to it!

That's John's (marlinturbo?).

I now know where John C got his idea for the aluminium rear frame from!

yes thats me that is...i had a LOT of guys message me with offers under the £5k but i have (maybe) sold it now.

i have done a lot of work to that car to sort the handling out...and recently fully trimmed it out.

You are absolutely correct.

The further benefit of John's design is that the clam and exhaust hangers at the back will enable me to run the clam further back out of the way and removes all the cross bracing on the Marlin frame. They are also very much stronger.

I am currently sourcing a Lotus S1 sports box to fit the space that is available.

Add to this the metal base I then have to bolt on the Rover lower engine mount too and I believed I have a good combination of advantages.

Hope all goes well with the sale John. Just sorry I did not find your car before the one I actually bought.

Do I understand you let your 2l Turbo engine go with the car? It sound like your Tomcat Turbo engine in the description but I thought you had changed it back to a kitten engine?

A bit of an aside, but noting something about John's car - he hasn't finished the bodywork, yet I'm presuming the car went through Taunton's test centre. I did not rub done the flash line on return near the numberplate on the rear clam, and failed because of the radius - John's is still present!

Goes to show, the SVA is a lottery.
