That'll give me time to sort a few other bits n bobs out : Quote:

floor pans, frame now in situ on chassis rewelded new rear outriggers on, but cut them down anyway can't really see it being a problem with dvla, but if it is I will weld the ends back on, and see what they say then. put tank, and fuel pipe in as well.Attachment 1355

pedal position
1 Attachment(s)
mounted clutch and brake pedal. tried seat in position to check steering column, and driving position. well it's either cut my legs off, or chop the frame, and pedals to reposition, as the frame must have been made for a midget, back to the drawing board ........now where was that hacksaw????????Attachment 1378

very nice seats...
|
Yep, very nice seats. They really fit the space available.
Perhaps your legs are supposed to go over the steering. That setup's been used successfully before if you think back to the eighties. For best results you just need to be naked from the waist down... http://i1301.photobucket.com/albums/...ps97644565.jpg |
A scary prospect...
But the build is looking good. |
he,s got better legs than my missus????????? oH dear I think she she's caught me posting this, time to do some grovelling
|
seats are eBay buy, supposedly out of a vw camper, may recover later, if I find them comfy, hopping to get seating position as low as possible
|
Build looking good with good progress Thrucroft Flyer.
Are the seats a second hand buy or from a company on ebay? |
the seats are a secondhand buy, but. in good condition. lok like fibreglass shells trimmed in vinyl, liked the look of them with having the low back.bought them as a buy it now, has soon as I saw them I hit the button, must have just dropped on them at the right time, actual bought them months ago.
