Brake Pipe Flaring

I have been using a Snap-On flaring tool, got carried away and put 45 degree double flares on the end of all of my pipes.

I now find that the female fittings on the Herald 13/60 should be doubles and the male unions require 'bubbles'. A couple of hours on the internet has left me very confused as to the difference between 'bubble' flares and single flares. I have seen a few articles which maintain that they are completely different and need a different tool. Other articles, including You Tube', say that you use a double flaring tool but turn it around!

Given that I am going to have to redo most of the pipes, I want to make absolutely sure that I am getting it right. So can you guys tell me whether I should be making single flares or do I need to get a different tools (as many of the internet articles suggest) to make 'bubble' flares?
