Quick update...
Working to fit the D-type to the FFR Cobra frame. Let's just say, my Sawzall has gotten a workout. Low and behold, FF Cobras are much taller than D-types. I've cut away much of the 1" square tubing and the entire trunk (boot) structure. The gas tank will be relocated to over the rear end. Here's a few photos of my progress. 👍🏻

I'm in the closing stages of a kitchen/bath/laundry room remodel. I've been hard at work keeping the wife happy.:nono: I did rebuild the Ford 8.8 rear end with 4.10 gears, so that will be ready to go when the time presents! :lol: I'll get back at it in a little while and keep everyone updated.:biggrin: Pat |

Long overdue update...
I purchased a 4 post lift to add parking space and make my build easier. The Cobra will be stored off site and I'll be able to move the "D" up and down to access the build better.
