I've ordered some of these:

And an NPT 1/8" tap off eBay so hopefully that will do it!

What is the best stuff to seal/hold these types of connectors to the tank? (holes are tapped)

Patrick where did you get these ive been looking for them for ages as the return to my tank is very close to the diff and the fuel pipe fouls it when fitted. The right angled conector would solve the problem. I would fit these with some locktight 275 as this is liquid & gas tight so should be good for petrol. I will test some in petrol over the weekend to see if its ok.

My post seems to have gotten lost :) I got them either at www.rallydesign.co.uk or www.europaspares.com. You can also get them at KMS and http://www.raceparts-direct.com/
