Covin Porsche 911 Turbo replica for sale.

4 Attachment(s)
Covin Porsche for sale.
Fitted with a 1600cc Ford CVH engine, VW gearbox.
Car will now need an IVA test, was running on the road as a Historic vehicle.
I tried to get the V5 changed to Covin, but the DVLA said car could not be identified, so they took it off the road.
All this after having been on the road for 11 years.
Car has a few scratches on the door and bonnet,as seen in photos, and some chips to the spoiler and sills, as can be expected for the age of it.

Last photo was taken in 2008, the others were taken last month.
Complete photo of car last month cannot be loaded for some reason, happy to email any photos to you.

Looking for OIRO £3000

Could not be identified, is that because it has an Irish plate? Knowing the original VW number should help.

Covin

No, it is not an Irish plate, but was a british regitered personal plate. The previous MOT's show the original VW registration.
It has the original VIN plate in the engine compartment, but not enough to satisfy the Examiner I had.

Try another DVLA local office as you may be lucky with another examiner, especially as most are going to lose their jobs soon. That number plate may be registered in GB but it was originally an Irish plate. Search EBAY for 'cheap cover plate' . All HUI, TUI, GAZ etc plus fuor numbers are Irish plates, and go for about £25, plus transfer fee.

Unfortunately, i do not have a V5, as Swansea did not return it, so appears i am stuck with the IVA test :(
Will take your word for Reg. plate, as i don't know

Bugger. Look out for a rubbish Covin that is registered correctly and swap the numbers to yours, then sell the other one for parts. Or another VW .....

Yes, that is always another option, have had a bit of interest, will see how it goes, thanks for all your suggestions, though
