Thanks for the link , the plush and sponge type looks like it will do the job hope to get a sample off them .

I used these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2612985137...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT but I did try a few and were never happy so in the end I stepped the door frame out then cut the rubber down and stuck it on with silicone. I take some pics in the morning if you still at the build stage step it out I found it the only way to stop it leaking.:typing:

Attachment 2151 sorry for the delay its been manic, don't know if you can work it out from the pick. think of the L shape profile of the door frame and then add a square infill just in the corner to step it out. just need to put the trim back on and mine is all finsihed

i should have done this job before going to paint but that would have been too easy
Attachment 2885 i marked around the closed window Attachment 2886 then measured 10cm back and cut along that line Attachment 2887 then the bit i cut of i refitted behind with tiger seal and countersunk rivets giving an edge to push the seal onto Attachment 2888 then bent and fitted the rain gutter which also went on with tiger seal and countersunk rivets finished off with filler, primer, satin black then satin black laquer. I was dreading this job as my GTO was already painted but we got fed up getting wet every time it rained...Ned |
