IVA fail: fog light - caution
 

If you've read my previous post (Nearly ... but not quite) you'll know that one of the fail points was the fog light working with the sidelights when it's only supposed to come on with dipped and main beam headlights.

I used the wiring loom supplied by Marlin.

I've trawled through my build notes, including the Marlin supplied wiring diagram. This clearly shows a Red wire going to the fog light switch, the red circuit being for the sidelights. Just be aware if you've wired up your fog light using the same loom in the same fashion its an IVA fail.

I need to take a feed from the dipped lights circuit instead (as these stay on as with full beam as main beam is a separate bulb). According to my build notes and the info with the loom, I should be able to take this from the fused side of the fuse box, as the wiring goes from battery, to light switch, to fuses.
