Every year he allows a few select individuals to come and see his collection (just have to make a smallish donation to charity).

I know the idea was to offer a soft top only but as they already have the roll cage for the 250................ Can't be too different, just bit more expensive.

Yes depending on the difficulty my plan is to either fit myself or get a boat restorer to do the job.
I'm going with a boat restorer/repairer as there are loads of them where I live and also the fact that most the good boat guys are experts in dealing with FiberGlass. I figured that option would be better than a normal car body shop.

The 275 project is progressing.
So far we have finished the buck, and the moulding stage is almost complete.There are just a couple of small parts left to mould. We then made the gray back end to continue the development of fitting panals and the roll cage ect. The gray back end will become the buck for the convertible.

We then made kidge's blue panels, which we have fitted up to one of our z3s.
Kidge has asked us to modify his kit. The front end has been split through the front grill, so the lower valance remains attached to the car along with his bumpers. The bumpers have been moulded, so fibreglass bumpers are available. Frameworks had to be made to support the added weight of the metal bumpers.

We have also produced extra items such as a headlining, lighting recesses and grp undertray.

Kidge should get his kit by the end of the week.

We are still only planning to release a convertible version of this kit at the moment,and we are unsure as to when we will start work on the convertible. When we do,it will have to fit in around paying work.

When the kit is complete it will be available to order exclusively through old no7.

Looking very good. One point that may be a concern is the front crash bar, it looks as if it is going to stop a lot of air flow to the radiator and the mouth opening is already quite small.

What are you using for a rear screen ?

I like the window opening. I personally would like to see this on the 250swb coupe, I know the shape isn't quite right but you do away with the sliding windows. I expect the quarter window will stay as it is from the Z3.

The roof line looks lower,

Not sure if it is my imagination though.

Doors need a curve in them lol.

I would say its the same hight as the 250 but the longer tail changes the proportions

You are probably right,

The head room in the 250 is limited so wont want it any lower, it looks like a 250 roof section, the over skins are 250 also, as are the sills.

Nice looking kit, will sell well I think.

I wonder if WCA will buy a third front end to complement the two other options he has at the moment ?? I'm not sure how the 250 SWB front fitted with his standard Z3 doors , it must have been narrowed some how.
