Smash - Good luck with the sale Scott.

Personally, I prefer your no badge look, but it is your bumpers that really put your car in a different league.

I'm a +1 to the suggestions that you would get a better price in the Spring.

Cheers, Paul. :)

Good god what a bloody awful day to try and do a video!

You can still hear the old gal over our local Hurricane Sharon... :)

smash, your car was a bit of a pioneering exercise, and having taken the risks, you deserve the rewards.

Agreed with those responses since mine.

The motor must be nice if Richard would makes an offer as hos personal car :0)

Thanks for the info regarding shocks Scott. I haven't had the zed up on ramps yet to assess what needs changing but now will consider an Eibach with stock option as opposed to B12. I am starting with a 2.2 (non Sport) and will eventually end up with a Kobra so don't want to spend cash where there is little return.

I forgot to say last time - great wheels and bumpers - even though thos compliments are well documented !

GLWTS again

Dave

Thanks Barber

@Dave - he can have it if he gives me what he got for his demonstrator ;)

If you're building a Kobra I think you may need a greater drop. the gun metal grey one I saw at Nubodi was running 19" IIRC and was on adjustables to get it as low as it needed. They definitely look better low.
Measure up after fitting the body as the Eibachs are only 35mm drop - not a lot - think you may need full adjustables

Scott,
Damn good call on the drop. I wanted to conduct all the mechanical stuff with the old body in place but your guidance is key to that thinking. I will look at adjustables in that case. They do get varied reviews so I need to look at a mid-market solution.

Thanks again

Dave

That's great news Scott ..... WELL DONE ...... not the bit about you getting upset , the sale ...

Lot's of stuff selling at the moment ...market seems quite buoyant for the right cars currently ...

Congrats Scott!

Still think it was too cheap.
How about a DNA Speedster next?

smash 17th September 2017 22:20

Thanks guys - she's gone to Brighton.

That speedster looks nice - exhaust suggests it's a rebodied Boxster? In which case it will be to a 356 what the MINI is to the mini - not sure thats good...

Edit - those are definitely boxster roll hoops

Hmm..be interesting to see it in flesh - the renders look good and we know it will be top quality.
