Anyone knows which kitcar brand this is?

Also, unless DGT extended the bodyshell (and chassis) the two cars are very different as the DGT originated from a 206GT whereas I am led to believe the Classics car was produced from a 246GT.

Laminated glass is NOT a good idea.
From a safety aspect, if you were trapped in the car the glass cannot be easily broken to ease your removal. Laminated glass is used on windscreens to avoid...

I used an early landrover but to be honest you could use pretty well any 'older' (flexi cable) type mechanism and simply turn one wheelbox around thro 180°.
