Right scrap my last. I was outbid by a mile. I now have my eye on one with fairly high mileage at 128k. So what are people's opinions on this size of mileage? Are they robust enough to put high miles...

MX5 gearbox question

I have my eye on a low mileage 58k mx5 at £800, but it crunches going into 5th. Is this common or does anybody have any idea on costs to repair such a fault?

This could be my donor lads, so good...

Cheers Paul. I learned to weld the same way you have, through necessity.the Cosmo welder I bought was atrocious with constant wire feed problems but at 175 amps it was ample for the thin metal work...

Right funds secured for a donor

I still can't decide between a BMW Z3 or an MX5, but the cheaper kits to fit a Mazda and the cheaper and propensity of the donors will probably mean I'll go Jap.

Any suggestions for the best model...
