I bought a set of Herald/Vitesse floor mats from an e-bay seller. The fronts I put in the footwells but I put the rear mats on the seats and step onto them to save the upholstery. Works for me.

Once these cars are painted and racing roundels are attached the expanse of 'side' is broken up sufficiently that nobody notices the lack of doors.

My guess is it's strawberry flavoured spray cream - you round up all the stray cats in the area, liberally apply spray cream to the rough patches on your bonnet and the cats do the rest. Saves hours...
