Depends if mountings are vertical,if so wishbone at top will need to be slighltly shorter to allow for some neg camber,also depends on uprights if they are vertical when mounted ie ball joints same...

I would think you would be ok with a lucas 17 acr wont have to alter brackets much as replaced the c40 dynamo that was fitted to most small cars ie mini etc when they changed to alternators,only...
