Hi Peter. The engine's a 2.5, taken from an 325i E30, 1992. Not sure of the mileage, although the seller suggested 90,000. But then he also said it was an M30!

M20 engine and gearbox

I just bought a spare engine and gearbox,complete with starter motor, alternator, and all the trimmings. Even plugs and new oil! However, when it arrived today, to my disappointment it is an M20...

Severe judder on braking

I drive a Marlin Sportster, which I've had for a little over a year. I've had a recurrent problem with a very severe vibration when I brake. Only at 50mph - no problems at lower speeds or above 60....
