Default alarm/immobiliser
It depends on year and model of donor if immobilised or not, my donor 820 turbo 1993 is not immobilised.
I would suggest a transponder style immobiliser which removes the requirement to touch sockets or press buttons. I intend to do this to mine but I haven't tried sourcing one yet. I fitted one to my Sportster some years ago and it works really well.
