The Guild of Motor Endurance Sportscar Challenge will be heading for Italy for 2008. A more tortuous and demanding five day test for sportscars would be difficult to find. The start will be from Digne-les-Bains in the Provence Alps. The route will be taking in many notorious Alpine passes, together with numerous rally stages above Monte Carlo and San Remo. On through Liguria into the Italian Appennines and to the finish in Rome.
If you own a hand built sportscar, whether a component car like a Caterham Seven or a Ginetta, a classic (pre-catalyst) car like a Porsche 911e, or a production (non-steel bodied) specialist sportscar like a Lotus Elise, and you want something a bit more challenging than a tour, then fill in an entry form, £595 pp including five nights b&b in hotels.
