We noticed a clonking at spirited pull aways.
While up on the ramp notice the v brace that was made, had movement on the bottom bolt that attaches to the gearbox. It's only a very small bolt due to the hole in the gearbox it mounts to.
Having a good look and head scratch, only real way of a steady bar is the other side of the engine.
So thought, ah. Use either the VW or k series steady bar. But on investigation, the k series uses the steady bar on the k series sump and the VW on the gearbox. Both I don't use.
Trying to find out how the mgf does it. Elise uses the sump as well. Hoping there is a dogbone on the mgf from the gearbox.
