Riveting stuff!
put the rivets in, 5mm, counter bored with a 10mm flat bit.

Despite tapering the GRP before gluing the shell on, there was still a bit of a dip in the join, so I put two more layers of chopped strand mat over the joint to fill the valley.

Did the same to both sides, then applied one skim of filler over the lot with an 8" filling knife.

That looks better!

I also glassed the b pillar joint as I had removed the original drop down bits of. GRP in my many 'fittings' of the shell.
Finally decided to fill the rear number plate recess. Since I have narrowed the body this is 4" too narrow fir a std number plate so rather than filling I laminated in 4 layers of GTP, and will gel coat over that.
