I see that you've discarded the scuttle brace (incorrectly called the H bracket or radio housing etc.) Triumph didn't put this in for fun, it serves the important function cunningly hidden in its name. I fear that, unless you add some bracing down to the frame, your instruments will perform St Vitus' dance at some rev's, especially as you're sticking with the vibey four pot.
Just a thought.
