If it helps, I'm awaiting costs from an OEM supplier for a batch of 10 off bonnet struts. I'm assuming there will be an off the shelf solution available from a production car rather than manufacturing something bespoke. The formal request was made via my company so I'd expect a reasonable discount.
I'll post the prices when ready, and happy to supply them at cost to the forum.
