fitted my cherry bomb exhaust rear boxes this weekend. not a bad job to fit, a couple of u clamps to fabricate, and some mounting brackets. I am happy with the look of the system from the rear of the car, but when I started the car oh my god what a noise. I love the sound, but I don't think the neighbours or other motorists will appreciate it. I have still to set up the carbs and final running of the engine yet, but I don't want to attract the attentions of the boys in blue when on the road. it may actually sound better travelling down the road than just revving it up outside the garage as the noise was just coming back off the wall of our three storey house. I must admit it sounds more race car than 1600 triumph vitesse . I will live with it for now, but may have to fit a quieter system if It gets on my nerves while using the car.
