The bad news (for both of us) is although the springs are 40mm shorter than standard (as suggested by Marlin) in my opinion, now I have the engine in, they are still far too long and stiff. The suspension still sits at the far end of its travel and is like rocks! I am going to have to get some others made I think (£80 down the drain
)
I am going to wait now until the build is more or less complete before I do anything about it - don't want to get it wrong again. My guess is they need to be about the same length but about 30% softer - I am hoping that someone else will hae this sorted before I need to make a final decision.
