Car is only a piece of metal/fibreglass.
I had a similar thing happen at 900 miles once I fixed turbo leak. Spun and crashed. Takes a lot of confidence out of you for a good while.
If you wanted another 5exi, they come up for sale or owners might be able to be persuaded to sell if you wanted one already built.
