I would like to think the panel was just poorly fitted from the start. If it is a bad molding and they are all coming out like that then it needs sorting really.
I have built a number of poorly fitting kits in my time and this sort of thing takes away a lot of the pleasure building a car. Whilst I have the skills to put them right it feels like I am sorting out someone else's mistake.
I was under the impression from other threads that the panel gap issue was resolved some time ago ??
