I managed to get a bit moor done this weekend I finished off the door lips these will be fitted after the car has been painted.
I also managed to get some door latches very cheep off flea bay, they are off a mini and should do the job nicely I will have to make some locating pins as they didn't come with them the leavers are actually the locking arms I could use them as openers or try to make some?

the latches will fit inside the door after much drilling and filing I got to this stage

the laches bolted in place so far so good I think it's going to work?
