Spent some time on the buck today.
Made and fitted a pattern for a fly screen and got the bonnet to shut better.
Reworked the front area as the original made the front look to much like a "Datsun 240Z" and a beer crate grill wouldn't fit either.

Still working on the back lights but in true Sammio fashion there are a few options, the tape is just to help line things up and not just to show how straight and even the rear end is

Haven't tried the standard round mini lights yet.
Still hoping to get a good coat of 2-pack glossy paint on it but undecided over the colour as red needs a few coats and we will not have time if were going to make Stoneleigh.
We still have some of the baby blue we painted the Gulf racer in so that might be a nice period colour.
