For those of you that don't know me from before, I built "number 48", the red car now owned by David. Some of you might even have seen my blog

Last year I sold the car as I was getting married and needed the money to finance the Wedding. Well, I'm now married and am back again having just placed my deposit on a Cordite kit. I need a bit of time to get sorted with my donor Spitfire first, so I'm aiming for a delivery date of early September, around 8 / 9 weeks from now.

here with nothing on it yet, but give me a few days and some pictures will start appearing.
I've bought a late 1972 (tax excempt) Spitfire for £850. A tad expensive, but it had a new gearbox from Canley Classics and a reconditioned 1500 engine and has had a full body off refurb at some point. The chassis also appears to be in good nick too - more will become clear once the bodyshell is off.
