Another Step Forward:
I managed to grab a couple of hours this evening to continue the flatting back.
I decided to focus on the bonnet and you can see the area I prepared earlier.
By the time I packed up I had improved quite a large section of the bonnet.
But there is still a bit of finishing off to do and I should get some decent time at it tomorrow.

The Good News:
The areas I sanded back last week have not picked up any new scratches from the covers.
( Despite the rain absolutely lashing it down on Wednesday. )
So the paint does appear to be hardening up nicely, although this makes it harder to sand.

The Bad News:
The is now a chance that
Mister Towed will have sold his car before I am back on the road.
But given what a HUGE inspiration this car, and
Mr T himself, has been to me, I can't really begrudge that.
In fact, I have decided to avoid any temptation to rush this final stage in a desperate attempt to get to Norfolk in time.
Instead I will ensure that my car ends up looking as good as I can make it.
Until next time, take care, Paul.
