After four years on the road I have decided that my main bonnet scoop, which had kind of morphed into something much bigger than I intended when I started trying to clear various ancillaries beneath, was just too wide for my liking.
So, after taking a very deep breath, I've cut it out and am in the process of replacing it with something that looks far more in keeping with the original D24 Spyder -
It's still very much a work in progress and what you see in the pics is actually a buck to take a mould from before laminating a complete new centre section for the bonnet. Once that's done a full respray in silver (naturally) will follow. Timescale is before Stoneleigh, weather permitting...
