Got the closest match vinyl on the console, not quite "tan", so I'll probably order some stitched leather to cover it, ill wait til the hood cover arrives to see how good a match the tan leather is

Fitted the leather speedo cover, its a much better match to the mx5 tan colour, albeit some slight fading, of the original dash, getting a price for stitched leather for the centre console and dash surround, think it'll be about £200-250 all in,

Also fitted the wipers, used drilled and tapped landrover defender spindle adapters, the original ones had the grub screws rounded off, i wish these were available in stainless!

Thats still not a stick on number plate, I'm hoping to get the rear wheels off and some new tyres, as they are really at the limit on size, and one has a slow flat. Probably going to go down to a 45 profile to give a little more clearance at the rear, I'm hoping to make new arch liners while they are off

That's probably the company I bought the dash cover from, JF customs i think.....but they don't list a full tan console/stereo surround so I'm just waiting on a price.

Ordered leather wrap for the console, £235, also received tan carpet and edging and some extra strong machine needles, so I can have a go at making some edged carpet, but next job is to make a stick on number plate

Having a go at the seal to the roof, I've used plastic upvc corner profile, to get the 90 degree seal in the position I need, unfortunately my electric window switch has given up on the passenger side down, so I've ordered some retro toggle switches

New window switches, had to modify the stainless cup holder/ash tray replacement, as they only did an "all in one" blackened one

Pulled all the carpet and wet vacuumed it, tidied up the seats, painted some trim, just waiting on the leather wrap for the console and tombstone
